through the Mind of God

 

 

The purpose of this website to publish my current work in an easily readable form and make it accessible. I undertook the task of  writing this book many years ago and only recently have I felt that it was ready for the eyes of  others. This is a book of my personal philosophy based upon an extraordinary experience that occurred over twenty-five years ago. In a state of profound meditation I caught a brief glimpse of the origin and structure of the entire universe and the creation of all the souls inhabiting it. This happened in a flash of insight, which I experienced more as a download of information, rather than ‘seeing’ everything. Upon reflection I realize that I was remembering the moment of my birth as an individual soul. This was similar to people who can remember details about their own physical birth. Since that time I have struggled to find the words and proper format to offer this information to others. But this inner revelation has an import that it must be shared, impelling me to keep trying to find the right way. I have chosen to publish on this site for two reasons. On the practical side this site is free and links to others of similar mind who may have read the books of the Ringing Cedars Press. The other reason is that I resonate deeply with the books written by Vladimir Merge; his portrayal of Anastasia, her outlook on the human condition and most importantly the genuine hope these words engender in the hearts of many.

I have chosen to write with the classic form of the sutra in mind—making statements and letting them stand without the language of persuasion or argument. It is not my intention to convert anyone to my point of view, which is precisely what this book is: my limited point of view of the Great Creation. It is not intended to supplant or contradict  any current belief system, religion or philosophy. It is my hope that these words will be a stimulus for further inquiry and dialogue about the nature of our existence and the true purpose behind our lives. This work is not professionally edited so please excuse the clumsiness and typos in some of  the writing.  The language will seem dry and somewhat convoluted but this seems necessary so that clear distinctions be made between various concepts—philosophers are familiar with this use of language. I also feel that we have not fully developed an accurate and universal language of metaphor to describe all the sublime aspects of our condition. Therefore I’ve had to invent some terms to describe the inner workings of the universe, the cosmic mind and the soul. The book is a work in progress and I will publish as I complete the chapters. I am also putting some of my poetry, as it relates to this subject, on a separate page. Thank  you for your attention . I am deeply grateful for this opportunity to share.

Update April 12 2008: I have added two poems to the poetry section. One is a memorial poem for my partner Colleen who passed away January 14/08. It is entitled ‘Colleen’s Heartbasket on the River to God’. There is a video of me reading this poem on my You Tube site —Windseedone. I have also added a poem entitled ‘Unbound Love’ which is also on my You Tube site as a poetry and image montage.
